Flight-attendant exhibit

On Saturday, the Museum of Flight opens an exhibit on the history of flight attendant uniforms, which tells the story of the evolution of women's rights and our culture. From left, Chris Mailander, director of exhibits; Katherine Williams, archivist; and Annie Mejia, developer; work at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. Mejia, who developed the exhibit, wasn't born when flight attendants went through a stage of wearing mini-skirts and hot pants, and the history was an eye-opener for her.
