Bellevue crane collapses

This aerial photo shows some of the damage from the collapse of a 210-foot crane at a construction site in downtown Bellevue. Three buildings were damaged and one man in an apartment building was killed. The crane was erected Sept. 9, and a state crane-safety specialist said he was unaware of any problems with it before the collapse.
