Welder Arturo Martinez welds a pile that will be part of the beginning of the ramp for the light rail track at Martin Luther King Jr. Way S. just before it turns west at the S. Boeing Access Rd. that crosses I-5. Martinez said the piles go down about 130 feet into the ground. Rebar and concrete will be added and they will become the columns that hold up the platform for the light rail track. (4/20/07)
