Michelangelo's masterpiece "David" is shown in a photograph looming over a small wood and gesso model (from the 19th century) that shows how the marble sculpture was moved. The Alexander Calder and Michelangelo exhibitions open Thursday Oct. 15 at Seattle Art Museum.
