• The Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival starts Friday and continues through Sunday with arts and crafts vendors, a beer garden and fireworks.
• The Seattle Police Foundation invites neighborhood residents to join with local police for food, music, clowns and more Saturday at the South Precinct Police Station in Seattle.
• Newcastle Days will include a sidewalk sales, pet parades, kids' inflatables and pony rides at Lake Boren Park.
• Join the Skokomish tribe for a Salmon Celebration Saturday at the Pacific Northwest Salmon Center. Come for a salmon lunch, singing, dancing and dugout canoe excursions.
• Aki Matsuri, a celebration of Japanese culture, will include martial-arts demonstration, a tea ceremony and workshops Saturday and Sunday at Bellevue College.
• Head to Rainier Base Camp in Ashford Saturday and Sunday for the Rainier Mountain Festival, with outdoor gear vendors, seminars and appearances by local mountaineers.
