Expert says: "This image features quintessential Pacific Northwest subjects. The fog-shrouded horizon, water and approaching ferry are framed thoughtfully by the silhouetted dock and birds in the foreground. The only visual adjustment that could have further enhanced this image would have been to position the camera so the ferry fit in the V-shaped space created by the pilings. Otherwise, the photographer did a great job of communicating the subject matter, with a great emphasis on the environment around her."
