A-Y-P anniversary: 100 years ago, Seattle celebrated its first world's fair

In 1909, Seattle met the world, as the city hosted the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition. It was our first world's fair.

A-Y-P at Northwest Folklife Festival

Community Research Project

Indigenous Voices Reply

Olmsted Legacy of the A-Y-P

Vintage Auto Race

July 12 Re-enacting the coast-to-coast race of 1909, the national Model T Club drives more than 50 vintage vehicles from New York City to Seattle, expected to arrive starting at approximately 10 a.m. July 12 at Drumheller Fountain, University of Washington, Seattle (www.ayp100.org).
