Mushroom festival at Lake Quinault Lodge

Lake Quinault Lodge in the Olympic National Forest will host its annual mushroom festival Oct. 17-19. Admission is $20 for the weekend and free for children 5 and under. Dr. Steven Trudell, a mycologist and University of Washington professor, will speak on mushroom collecting, fungi and forest health and mushroom identification. Other presenters will include Lake Quinault Lodge executive chef Patrick Norris and representatives from Fletcher Street Ostrom's Mushroom Farm.
