The Spirit of Washington Dinner Train is offering free rides Nov. 1-April 30 to children 12 and under accompanied by a paying adult. The limit is two children per paying adult. The 3-½- hour excursion departs from Freighthouse Square in Downtown Tacoma and travels south along a scenic 52-mile round trip to Lake Kapowsin north of Eatonville before heading back to Tacoma. Tickets cost between $53.99 and $83.99 per person depending upon the ride time and seating location. Fare includes a three-course meal.
