Music, classic yachts, a fun run and embellished rubber duckies are among the attractions at the Edmonds Waterfront Festival this weekend. Vintage yachts from the Pacific Northwest fleet of the Classic Yacht Association will be on display at the marina, with some available for boarding. Other maritime activities include Coast Guard and Washington Public Ports Association displays, guided kayak demos and an on-land Antique Classic Boat Society display of boats from the 1930s and '40s. Other festival attractions include a children's arcade, arts and crafts vendors, food, rubber-duck decorating and race, and the new Port of Edmonds public Weather Center with instruments and exhibits on tides and weather. Family Stage entertainment includes a patriotic concert by Navy Band Northwest; Reptile Isle snakes and lizards; Patches Pals reunion with J.P. Patches; and Fiesta Mexicana Mariachi band. The Beer Garden Stage hosts steel drums, classic rock including The Beatniks, blues and R&B. Festival hours: 3-10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday. Admission: $3; ages 11 and younger admitted free Location: Port of Edmonds, on the waterfront in Edmonds.
