A Few of My Favorite Things

Woodland Park Zoo

We asked readers: "What are your favorite 'must-see' attractions when you visit Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo?"

• "We can't leave without paying a visit to the grizzly bears. Every time we visit they're playing and romping around their area and splashing in the pool inches from the viewing area. They're natural comedians." — Jarrah Juarez, Bellevue

• "Easy: the nocturnal exhibit. Petri dishes of blood to feed and attract the vampire bats; things hardly seen scurrying through the dark vegetation or through the air above. Maybe you'll recognize what it is. Maybe you're just guessing. It's dark. It's fun." — Bob Speed, Gig Harbor

• "Northern Trail and the Butterfly House. Nothing like them at any other zoo I've been to." — Adam Gold, Woodinville

NEXT WEEK, PIKE PLACE MARKET: What are your "must-see" stops when you visit the Market? Please submit your answer online by the end of Monday, May 29, at seattletimes.com/favoritethings
