The Seattle University men's golf team saw its third different golfer lead the team in scoring, holding off Hartford to finish sixth at the America Sky Men's Golf Conference Championships on Wednesday at the Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Ian Dahl shot an even-par 71 to finish in a tie for 12th with a 13-over 226 total.
The Redhawks combined to shoot 21-over 305 for a 68-over 920 total.
Other golf
• A poor final-day performance cost the Western Washington men's golf team a trip to nationals as it fell three places and finished sixth, one shot short of qualifying, at the NCAA Division II Central/West Super Regional at the University of New Mexico Championship Course.
Western shot a round of 300, its worst of the tourney by 10 strokes, for a 54-hole total of 877, one shot behind Hawaii Hilo.
Tennis
Washington sophomore Kyle McMorrow grabbed a spot in the singles bracket and will team with senior Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan in the doubles draw for the NCAA tournament May 25-30 in Stanford, Calif.
In the women's singles and doubles draw, also at Stanford, the All-American UW tandem of Denise Dy and Venise Chan will team together for the first time. For the second straight year, Dy and Chan are among the top-16 seeded players in the singles draw.

SPU sophomore Nate Johnson won the men's decathlon with 6,373 points.
