AUBURN — Knight Raider scored a 3 ¾-length victory over Rewritten in Sunday's $54,000 Barbara Shinpoch Stakes for 2-year-old fillies, joining Smarty Deb (2007) as the only juvenile fillies to win three stakes in a season at Emerald Downs.
With Ricky Frazier aboard, Knight Raider ran 1 mile in 1 minute, 37 seconds and paid $2.60, $2.20 and $2.10.
The victory in the Shinpoch, following wins in the Knights Choice and Angie C stakes, was worth $29,700.
