STANFORD, Calif. — The second-ranked Washington softball team was shut out for the second consecutive day by Stanford All-American Missy Penna, falling 2-0 Sunday at Boyd and Jill Smith Family Stadium.
The Huskies (28-5, 1-2 Pac-10) dropped consecutive games for the first time this season and were not able to push a run across in 18 innings against Penna, who improved to 21-2.
