The Washington baseball team will play twice at Safeco Field this season: April 3 vs. Arizona State and May 8 vs. Oregon State. First pitch for both games is set for 6:30 p.m.
This will be the third consecutive season the Huskies have hosted opponents at the home of the Mariners. In 2007, the Huskies beat defending national champion Oregon State 6-2 in front of 10,421 fans, a Pac-10 record for a conference game. Last season, Washington beat Arizona 1-0 on a two-hit, 15-strikeout performance by starter Nick Haughian.
"We're extremely happy to have two more games on tap at Safeco Field this year," Huskies head coach Ken Knutson said. "The Mariners organization has been very hospitable the last two years and everyone involved has had a great time."

Washington's Tze Huang Choo had a first-day total of 1-under 141, good for a tie for ninth at the USC Collegiate in Westlake Village, Calif. The Huskies (12-over 580) are sixth out of 13 teams.
• Western Washington (even-par 576) is fourth among 19 teams after the first day of the Cal State Bakersfield Intercollegiate. Jake Koppenberg led Western with a 3-under 141 total, good for a tie for seventh.
Women's golf
