Reserve forward Kayla Stiegemeier scored a goal in each half Saturday, leading the eighth-ranked Seattle Pacific women to a 3-0 victory over No. 16 Chico State in a nonconference soccer game at Interbay Stadium.

Forward Amanda Johnson netted her team-leading third goal of the season 1:26 into the game.

Goalkeeper Maddie Dickinson wasn't required to make a save for SPU (3-0-1).

Horse racing

Jockey Kevin Radke, the leading rider this season at Emerald Downs with 100 wins, will miss the final three weeks of the season because he broke three ribs in a Thursday evening spill at the Auburn track. Radke, 36, also complained of a sore chest and a sore left knee, and said he would return to his hometown of Cleveland to recuperate.

Radke and Tropic Gem were leading the six-furlong sixth race when the 3-year-old gelding suffered a leg injury midway on the turn, sending the jockey hard to the ground. The injury to Tropic Gem proved fatal.
