Seattle Pacific
women win in OT
Amanda Johnson scored two goals, including the game-winner with less than two minutes left in the second overtime to lift eighth-ranked Seattle Pacific to a 3-2 victory over No. 24 Cal State Dominguez Hills in a nonconference soccer game at Interbay Stadium.
Johnson's goal turned back a Dominguez's rally — the Toros overcame a 2-0 deficit — to force overtime. The sophomore forward stopped just outside the box after a long dribbling run down the center of the field and launched a 20-yard blast into the upper right corner to end the game.
The Falcons (2-0-1) took the early lead on a 35th-minute goal by Johnson and a 52nd-minute strike from Jenkins.
