MISPLACED LADY has won three of her past four starts and gets a great post. Jockey Kevin Radke is winning at a 24 percent clip for trainer Tim McCanna. LAST THOUGHTS has been a win machine most of her career, and now her connections drop her to the bottom level after losing as a 6-5 favorite. STARS ON THE WATER should get a good pace to run at and should be in time for a minor award.

LUCKY LEXIE looks to be the fastest of the group and takes a noticeable drop in selling price. He'll be a short price for trainer Jim Penney (38 percent all-time with betting favorites at EmD). HATED NEIGHBOR found himself right in the race in last and held on pretty well to nab third money by a neck. LIVATION came to life in last, beating eight to run second at 14-1.

SHE B LEDO simply can't be ignored as the late Slewdledo ranks second all-time at EmD with 16 2-year-old debut runners entering this year.

PHILIP FRECKLES returned with attitude earlier this month, winning by four as the heavy even-money favorite. Now can he do it in back-to-back races? BRASS TACKS is going just fine in his 6-year-old debut. He's finished in the exacta 20 times from 37 starts over the local oval. MAGOO CAN DO drops another peg on the class level after not racing in nearly two months. He's riding a 15-race losing streak for current connections who doled out $25,000 for him in 2006. WOOD BE FABULOUS meets some grizzled veterans, so you need around 3-1 to 4-1 to bet him to win.

MYSTIC TRICK returned to Emerald and posted a 20-1 win after racing in the bushes in Oregon. She has a good record here and can win from off the pace. MISS CRACKER JACK is probably the fastest of them all, but can she stay in front? Don't think so as other fast runners are inside her. BOCALLI led for 5 furlongs in her first start for trainer Frank Lucarelli (15 percent, $1.46 ROI with runners second off the claim).

ELUSIVE HORIZON was dynamite in the Washington Lottery's Handicap, leading every step of the way to win by a half-dozen lengths. She's come back with two solid works and is simply the "now" horse. SWEETHEART DEAL got away 3 lengths behind the field in the WA Lottery but rallied to easily be second. That was her best run to date as she didn't break her maiden until her 10th career start. CHRISTMAS SHIP roared to life in her most recent start as she made a huge run to beat optional/claimers at Pleasanton in a good time. The runner she beat that day returned to finish third in an allowance turf race at Del Mar.
