4 April's Red Tie K Radke 3 124
THE BEER HUNTER received a perfect trip in his last start to pick up win No. 3. The leading rider (Ricky Frazier) sticks aboard, and the extra 110 yards should be a benefit. CLARA'S CHOICE returns in 10 days for trainer A. D. Hoksbergen, who had 48 percent of his quick returnees finish in the top three the past five seasons. BAD TOM hasn't raced in six weeks for trainer Neil Knapp (5 for 62 with runners off 30 to 89 days). He did break his maiden here last year by beating The Beer Hunter with ease.
2 6 ½ furlongs, purse $6,700, 3-year-olds, maiden claiming $7,500

7 Thorndyke Road J Whitaker 6 122
8 Airborne Eagle K Radke 5 122
10 Santorini Island Werner-Hagerty 20 112
NAUTICAL WHEELER just missed at 12-1 two weeks ago and may have been best if it wasn't for being stuck behind runners and falling back in the turn. CUT FREE exits a good heat where the second and third-place runners came back to win and the winner finished second in his next start. SWEET TOMMIE was bumped extremely hard at the start of his debut and never really was in the race. Barn is good with runners making their second start and Ricky Frazier rides.

4 6 furlongs, purse $6,300, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $4,000

5 Explodin' by U P Flores 8 123
8 Duchess Arvilla L Mawing 6 119
9 Notes of Freedom K Repp 8 117
LET'S CUDDLE UP has racked up five seconds but just one win from 12 lifetime starts at EmD. She returned off a eight-week layoff to run a game second after steadying in the stretch. BOCALLI drops to a new low in class for trainer Steve Bullock (21 percent with runners dropping three levels in class). CYNICAL CITY usually finds a way to get involved in the trifecta for seven-time training champion Tim McCanna.

WOULD BE FABULOUS, a 5-year-old, drops in class to meet $3,500 claimers for owner/trainer Mike Chambers despite winning his last two starts. POTRERO STATION came to life in last with the drop in selling price. His last win came in 2006 at Hastings Park. BULL HEADED WYNNE exits his best race.

7 6 ½ furlongs, purse $15,000, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $20,000/$18,000

2 Arsen Annie L Mawing 5 117
4 Miss Fast Dancer G Baze 15 119
5 Oh Yes I Am K Radke 4 119
7 Musical Wine J Crispin 15 123
WINGS OF JUSTICE was nominated to run in Sunday's Washington State Legislators Handicap but runs in this claimer. The 4-year-old filly, who makes her first start in seven weeks, will try to get back to the winner's circle after losing as the 2-5 favorite in a $30,000 Turf Paradise stakes race. ME O ME O MY ran a solid race in her 2008 Emerald debut but couldn't pass back-to-back winner Follow Your Shot. GOLD DEVILLE reunites with Ricky Frazier, and they won together a month ago against similar.
8 1 mile, purse $6,200, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $3,500

7 He's a Barn Rat J Whitaker 4 124
8 Dances With Eagles J Estrada 12 124
9 Lazaro C Jones 20 124
PETE'S BOY made his long return at a flat mile. He led for a half-mile before tiring badly for trainer Howard Belvoir (13 percent, $2.37 ROI at the $3,500 level routing). MOB RULE cruised to a 4 ½-length victory in his EmD debut four weeks ago. Now he draws a tough post 10. KICKAPOLE was up the track in last as the 7-5 favorite.
