Man U to face Chelsea in UEFA Champions League final in Moscow: Manchester United and Chelsea are making history with the first all-English UEFA Champions League final — and the one with the latest starting time.
Kickoff at Luzhniki Stadium today in Moscow is 10:45 p.m., which is 8:45 p.m. for many TV viewers in Europe and 11:45 a.m. in Seattle (the match is on ESPN2).
FC Dallas fires coach: FC Dallas fired coach Steve Morrow, two days after a 5-1 Major League Soccer loss to superstar David Beckham and the Los Angeles Galaxy. Assistant Marco Ferruzzi was named interim coach.

Crosby leads young Penguins: Pittsburgh's Sidney Crosby, 20, is the youngest captain in Stanley Cup Final history. He will lead the Penguins against the Detroit Red Wings in the best-of-seven Final, which starts Saturday in Detroit.

Arizona grants Negedu his wish: Arizona released forward Emmanuel Negedu of Nigeria from his national letter of intent to play for the Wildcats. He signed the letter in November.
Tennis
UCLA women, Georgia men earn national titles: UCLA won its first NCAA women's team title, beating California 4-0 in Tulsa, Okla.
In the men's final, Georgia defeated Texas 4-2 for its sixth team title.
Davenport won't play in French Open: American Lindsay Davenport, 31, withdrew from the French Open for "personal reasons," said organizers of the tournament that starts Sunday.

Wheeler reportedly will step down: H.A. "Humpy" Wheeler, known as the P.T. Barnum of NASCAR promotions, reportedly will step down as president and general manager of Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C.
Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 reportedly will be his last race for Lowe's.
Montoya gets new crew chief: Juan Pablo Montoya will have his third crew chief in a month when Brian Pattie takes over the No. 42 Dodge for the Coca-Cola 600.
Castroneves mulls future: Helio Castroneves, who is seeking to win his third Indianapolis 500 Sunday, said he is considering following several other open-wheel racers and moving to NASCAR but has made no decision yet.
"I won't deny that I'm thinking about it," Castroneves told the Los Angeles Times. "It would be great to one day try the [stock] cars. But at this point, I'm focusing on Indy cars and winning the Indianapolis 500 again."
Moore dies at 95: Lloyd Moore, who won a NASCAR race in 1950 and was its oldest former driver, died Sunday in Frewsburg, N.Y. He was 95.
Track and field
Pistorius declines invitation: Double-amputee sprinter Oscar Pistorius of South Africa declined an invitation to compete in the 400 meters at Berlin's June 1 Golden League meet, saying he wasn't ready to face the world's elite.
The 21-year-old is seeking to qualify for this year's Beijing Olympics after the Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled Monday his prosthetic racing blades do not give him an unfair advantage over able-bodied runners.

Bruseghin wins Giro stage: Marzio Bruseghin of the Lampre team won the 10th stage of the Giro d'Italia, and Giovanni Visconti of the Quick Step team kept the overall lead.
Figure skating
Canadian ice dancers retire: Canadians Marie-France Dubreuil, 33, and Patrice Lauzon, 32, who were second at the world championships in 2006 and 2007, retired from competitive ice dancing. They plan to marry in August and intend to join the professional skating circuit.
Olympics
Women ski jumpers to sue: A group of women ski jumpers is going to court today in an effort to have the sport included in the 2010 Vancouver Games.
