Competitors in the J-24 class sail away from the starting line in the first day of a three-day racing series on Puget Sound. The National Offshore One-Design Regatta debuted in Seattle on Friday, with some 220 boats registered to race in four divisions, with multiple classes in each. Near-perfect conditions greeted the sailors.
