Angie Jones, a senior guard on the Washington women's basketball team, has ended her college career because of injuries that have resulted in arthritis in her right knee, coach June Daugherty said Thursday.
Jones has had two ACL surgeries and two meniscus surgeries on her right knee since her junior year in high school at Holy Names Academy.
Jones, who played in 51 games for Washington, starting four and averaging 1.9 points, will be a student assistant coach this season.
