Prime time: Delayed on NBC, 8 p.m. to midnight; live, CBUT, 3-9 a.m.
• Jamaican sensation Usain "Lightning" Bolt will be attempting to add 200 gold to his 100 world-record sprint. Also, former WSU star Bernard Lagat tries to qualify in the 5,000 after not advancing in the 1,500. UW pole vaulter Brad Walker has a qualifying round.
• Defending Olympic champions Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh could confirm their status as queens of beach volleyball in the final as they take on China.
• BMX racing is one of the new events at the Olympics — an all-out, full-contact, eight-person race through a twisting course with plenty of jumps. Kirkland's Jill Kirtner tries to medal, while a trio of USA men also will contend.
• In the Champions Gala, see the stars of the Beijing gymnastics competition one last time in a non-competitive exhibition.
USA Network, 5-9 a.m.
• Men's basketball quarterfinal action with the U.S. playing Australia and Argentina taking on Greece.

• Marathon swimming debuts for the men with a taxing 10K race.
