The rally began at the Vancouver art gallery. After gathering and speeches, protesters moved onto Georgia street as media, police and Olympic fans looked on and followed the crowd.

6:30 p.m. Some headed back to art gallery, some staying at BC Place.
6:03 p.m. Have seen a few small items thrown toward BC place and police. but crowd is starting to be pushed back a bit.
5:32 p.m. Next to a demonstrator with a headset, coordinating others to head to the front of the crowd.
5:29 p.m. Crowd chanting 'police back down.' March has been at a standstill.
5:24 p.m. Rain is coming down harder. Speaker just asked those protesting who do not want to 'get involved' to move toward back of crowd.
4:59 p.m. March has stopped in front of bc place and choir is supposed to start singing. But a competing live band nearby just started its set.
