A memorial service to honor King County Sheriff Deputy Stan Chapin will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 10100 N.E. 192nd St., Bothell.

A viewing for Deputy Chapin will be 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at Acacia Funeral Home, 14951 Bothell Way N.E., Lake Forest Park.
Chapin, 61, who died Monday night, was the school resource officer at Eastlake High School and Inglewood Junior High School.
For the past 12 years, Chapin wore a Sammamish Police Department uniform as part of the city's contract for police services with the Sheriff's Office.
