Vatican calls for end to Israel's occupation of Palestine

What about the world’s other occupations?
The Vatican demands an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories [“Vatican meeting demands Israel end occupation,” seattletimes.com, Oct. 23]. (How those became “Arab” or “Palestinian” lands, thousands of years after Jewish rule, is a subject for another letter.)
Has the Holy See also demanded an end to the Chinese occupation of Tibet, the Indian occupation of Kashmir, the Russian occupation of Chechnya and parts of Georgia, the Turkish occupation of Northern Cyprus, Spanish occupation of Basque Country and Catalonia, and Moroccan occupation of Western Sahara? If it has, where is the coverage? If not, where is the outrage, and why the double standard?
