Discounted "happy hour" treatments are offered weekdays at Spaahh.

The happiest of hours is actually half of an hour at downtown Seattle's Spaahh at Hotel 1000. That's where you can get quickie 30-minute spa treatments at a discount during "happy hour," or from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. weekdays.

"With the limited amount of time everyone has in the day, especially in this district, we're trying to come up with services we can fit into 30-minute increments," said Aneta Krochmal, spa manager. "It could turn their day around when it might be a little hectic."

Happy-hour treatments include an express facial ($45), aroma back relief ($44), uptown manicure ($16) and downtown pedicure ($32). Appointments are required (206-357-9490.)

Spa patrons may order soup, sandwiches and cocktails from the hotel restaurant, BOKA, for delivery. So you can have your lunch and eat it, too.

Hotel 1000 is located at 1000 First Ave.
