OKLAHOMA CITY — The Sonics better get used to a new name if they make the move from Seattle.

The Oklahoma City Council on Tuesday approved the final portion of its lease with the club, including a clause requiring the team to include Oklahoma City in its name.

The Sonics' relocation has been approved by the NBA, but the team's attempt to break its lease with Seattle is pending in federal court.
