Dwyane Wade scored 31 points, leading the Miami Heat to a 103-93 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics on Friday night for just their third victory in the last 30 games.

Wade, who had consecutive sub-20-point games this week for the first time this season, helped give the Heat (11-52) just their third victory in the past 30 games.

Chris Wilcox, averaging 12.6 points, had a season-high 30 points. Kevin Durant, who leads all NBA rookies with a 19.2 average, had 24 points.

The Sonics (15-43) were coming off the fourth-worst defeat in franchise history, 138-96 to Denver on Wednesday. It was the most points allowed by any team this season. They didn't have enough defense down the stretch Friday to stop the team with the worst record in the NBA.

Seattle had a 10-point lead with three minutes left in the third quarter when the Heat turned things around. Marcus Banks and Ricky Davis hit successive 3-pointers to trigger a run, and Banks gave the Heat a 77-76 lead with 7 seconds left in the period on a three-point play.

Shawn Marion, who had 14 points, scored eight points in the final quarter -- six on second-chance baskets.

Seattle held a 10-point lead midway through the first half, but the Heat closed strong, narrowing the margin to 47-44 by halftime. Wade had 17 points in the half, while Wilcox had 16.
