Sunday, March 12, 2006 - Page updated at 12:00 AM Capsule Preview: Seattle at L.A. LakersWhen: 12:30 p.m. today at Staples Center TV/Radio: Ch. 4/KJR (950 AM) Records: Seattle 24-38, Lakers 33-30 Bottom line: Ray Allen wanted to eclipse the 15,000-point barrier at home on Friday, but perhaps it's fitting that he reaches the milestone in Seattle's first nationally televised broadcast game of the season. He needs three points to get to 15,000 and 20 to pass Mike Mitchell for 96th place on the NBA's all-time scoring list. If Seattle loses four games, it will guarantee the third losing season in the past four years. MVP candidate Kobe Bryant leads the league in scoring and became the youngest player in NBA history to reach 16,000 points on March 3. Bryant (27 years and 192 days) edged out Wilt Chamberlain (27 years and 196 days). Injuries: Sonics — F Nick Collison (torn plantar fascia left foot) and F Danny Fortson (sore left knee) are out. Lakers — F Devean George (right wrist sprain) is doubtful. G Aaron McKie (torn left quadriceps tendon) is out. Percy Allen
