Thursday, March 2, 2006 - Page updated at 10:09 AM Sonics Sonics sign Noel Felix to 10-day contractSeattle Times staff The Sonics signed Noel Felix to a 10-day contract, Sonics GM Rick Sund announced today. A 6-foot-9 forward out of Fresno State, Felix began this season in training camp with the Sonics and averaged 2.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 10.8 minutes per game in five preseason games. He was waived by the team Oct. 29, 2005. Since then, Felix has appeared in 41 games with the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the Continental Basketball Association, where he averaged 15.7 points and 7.0 rebounds per games on 54.4 percent (259-476) shooting from the field. Last season, Felix averaged 15.7 points and 7.4 rebounds per game with the Yakima Sun Kings of the CBA. The Sonics roster now stands at 13 players.
