Second-year center Robert Swift could make his season debut filling in for Fortson, although backup forward Reggie Evans or reserve center Vitaly Potapenko are more plausible options. ... Despite Kobe Bryant averaging 35.7 points in his three games against the Sonics last season, Seattle won the season series (3-1) for the first time since 2000-01. Injuries: Seattle: F Danny Fortson (arthritic right big toe) is out. G Rick Brunson (plantar faciitis left foot) is doubtful. Lakers: C Chris Mihm (sore left ankle) is probable.
