Fox Sports Net, which purchased the television broadcast rights to Sonics games next season, has replaced color analyst Billy McKinney with Craig Ehlo, a former Sonics player and Washington State guard.

Ehlo, who began his NBA playing career in Houston in 1983 and spent seven seasons in Cleveland and four in Atlanta before retiring in Seattle in 1997, had been the lead Pac-10 men's basketball analyst for FSN last season. He also provided color commentary for Gonzaga men's basketball games the past two seasons.

The network will pair Ehlo with play-by-play announcer Kevin Calabro, who enters his 18th year with the Sonics next season.

All game telecasts on FSN are simulcast on KJR Radio (950 AM).

McKinney, an executive vice president for the Sonics and the WNBA's Storm, has an uncertain future with the NBA team.

He had served as an analyst the past three years.

Note

• The Sonics held workouts for Huskies guards Nate Robinson and Curtis Allen, Washington State's Marcus Moore, Trevor Ariza of UCLA, Rafael Araujo of Brigham Young, Oklahoma State's Tony Allen, Missouri's Arthur Johnson and Pacific's Miah Davis.
