Court papers: Teen in Oregon murder had violent history
Court documents say a Coos Bay teenager with severe autism who is accused of killing his father's girlfriend had a history of violent outbursts against family members.
Court documents say a Coos Bay teenager with severe autism who is accused of killing his father's girlfriend had a history of violent outbursts against family members.
The Coos County sheriff's office has released a probable cause statement in its investigation of the death last week of 59-year-old Linda Foley.
The World of Coos Bay says the statement quotes a family friend as recalling that 18-year-old Henry Cozad became aggressive with Foley when she wouldn't give him a soda pop, grabbing and shaking her.
The statement says that when deputies arrived at the family home Thursday, they found Foley's battered body in the doorway of her bedroom, Cozad's blue jeans extensively stained with blood and his right knuckles freshly scraped.
