One teen was killed, and another was wounded Friday night in a shooting near Garfield High School.

A 16-year-old male died from wounds suffered in the shooting, which occurred around 8:20 p.m. at 25th Avenue and East Cherry Street in the Central District, according to Seattle police.

A 15-year-old male was shot in the torso. He made it into the Garfield High School Teen Center and was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. His condition had stabilized this morning.

Police are looking for one or two males driving a sedan.
