Prison for Paramedic in Ambulance Attack
A former paramedic in mid-Michigan has been sentenced to between 40 months and 15 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old while she was being taken to a hospital.
David Spresny was sentenced Wednesday. He was found guilty in January of third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
The 43-year-old Standish man was charged in July with assaulting the girl after she was injured in a traffic accident. She said she was molested while strapped to a backboard in the ambulance.
Defense attorney Garner Dewey says his client plans to appeal.
