CA-04, John Doolittle (R): Big recipient of contributions from Jack Abramoff and the Indian tribes he represented; Justice Department also is investigating Doolittle's wife, who was on the payroll of Abramoff's lobbying firm.

CA-11, Dick Pombo (R): Another big benefactor of Abramoff money, Pombo helped an Indian tribe represented by the lobbyist.
