BAGHDAD, Iraq — A roadside bomb killed one U.S. soldier and wounded six in the Dora section of Baghdad on Wednesday, an Army spokesman said.

The U.S. military also said an American soldier died Wednesday night of injuries suffered in a vehicle accident near Kirkuk.

The two deaths raised the U.S. death toll since the war started in March 2003 to 1,909, according to an Associated Press count.
