Rosanne Cash will talk, sing at Seattle's Paramount Theatre on May 1
National Public Radio and the eldest daughter of country music pioneer Johnny Cash team up for a unique evening of entertainment.
Seattle Times staff reporter
National Public Radio will host a night of music and conversation with Rosanne Cash and Michele Norris of "All Things Considered" on May 1 at Seattle's Paramount Theatre.
Cash, the oldest daughter of the late country-music trailblazer Johnny Cash, will perform a number of songs, including pieces from her most recent studio album, "The List." She is a prolific singer-songwriter, with a Grammy award for her 1985 song "I Don't Know Why You Don't Want Me." She also has 11 No. 1 country hit singles, 21 Top-40 country singles and two gold records.
Cash's husband and producer, John Leventhal, will accompany her and the audience will get a chance to ask questions at the end of the show.
Tickets are $35 to $45, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at www.stgpresents.org. For more info, go to www.rosannecash.com.
