Bob Dylan, Roger Daltrey and Steve Martin set fall concert dates in Seattle

Bob Dylan will play WaMu Theater Oct. 5; Roger Daltry, the Showbox SoDo Oct. 12; and Steve Martin, Benaroya Hall, Nov. 3.

Dylan, Daltrey

Bob Dylan will play Seattle's WaMu Theater on Oct. 5. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday.

Dylan's new album, "Together Through Life," has been met with critical praise. The legendary singer-songwriter is known for pointedly avoiding "greatest hits"-style concerts.

Tickets cost $49.50 at all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone (800-745-3000) or at www.livenation.com.

The Who frontman Roger Daltrey is also coming to Seattle, hitting the Showbox SoDo on Oct. 12. It's his first solo tour since 1985.

Tickets cost $37.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday (800-745-3000 or www.ticketmaster.com).

Steve Martin, too

Multitalented entertainer Steve Martin has announced a Nov. 3 date at Seattle's Benaroya Hall. Martin, perhaps best known as the "wild and crazy" comedian whose career was launched by "The Tonight Show" and "Saturday Night Live," is also a playwright, producer, composer and musician; on his upcoming tour, he'll perform with his banjo in support of his recent bluegrass album, "The Crow: New Songs for the Five-String Banjo."

Tickets go on sale Aug. 15 at Ticketmaster outlets (800-745-3000 or www.ticketmaster.com).
