Los Lobos, more, at zoo
Grammy-winning bands Los Lobos; Earth, Wind & Fire; and Chicago all have gigs in Seattle July 17 and 19.
Bring on the Grammy winners.
Bands representing decades of award-winning music-making appear in Seattle this weekend.
Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago: The R&B band and the rock-jazz-fusion group team up for a double bill at 8 p.m. today at WaMu Theater, 1000 Occidental Ave. S., Seattle; $50-$125 (800-745-3000 or www.ticketmaster.com).
Los Lobos: The Chicano rock band (at left) from East L.A. plays ZooTunes at 6 p.m. Sunday, Woodland Park Zoo, 5500 Phinney Ave. N., Seattle; $22 (206-548-2688 or www.zoo.org).
