Pärt's compositional style, called "tintinnabuli" (ringing of bells), based on early music forms such as chant, polyphony and plainsong, has a meditative aspect. 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Trinity Parish Church, 609 Eighth Ave., Seattle.

Suggested donation: $17 general admission, $12 students and seniors. Advance tickets at 206-973-7528 or www.therenaissancesingers.com. A sample of the singers' music can also be heard on that site.
