A&E Dispatch | Rebirth Brass Band adds Seattle show, cancels Portland

The New Orleans Rebirth Brass Band will play an encore show in Seattle tonight, Jan. 8, at the High Dive in Fremont.

Seattle Times staff reporter

Finally, our weather madness has acted in favor of something in the Seattle A&E scene.

With the heavy rain, the New Orleans Rebirth Brass Band can't make it to their tour stop in Portland, so instead, the popular brass band will play an encore show in Seattle tonight, Jan. 8.

The funky jam band played a sold-out show at Seattle's Tractor Tavern Wednesday night. Tonight they'll play at the High Dive in Fremont. Tickets to tonight's 21-and-up show are $8 at the door, and the show starts at 10 p.m. at the High Dive, 513 N 36th St., Seattle.
