"Holiday Bizarre: A Jewish Christmas!" back at Tractor Tavern
"Holiday Bizarre: A Jewish Christmas!," an irreverent holiday musical, plays at Seattle's Tractor Tavern Dec. 10-11 and 16-17.
"Holiday Bizarre: A Jewish Christmas!
A revisionist Christmas story, from a cast of nice Jewish boys?
Yep, the irreverent musical "Holiday Bizarre: A Jewish Christmas!" is back at Tractor Tavern, with cameos by the pope, a gangsta rapper Easter Bunny and an anti-Semitic Santa. (Obviously, not a show for the easily offended.)
"Jewish Christmas" — conceived by and starring local boys David Bestock, Quinn Redman, Eli Rosenblatt and Ben Rosenblatt — will play four times in the next week: tonight, Thursday, Tuesday and next Wednesday, with a 7:30 p.m. door and the curtain at 8 p.m. each night, at the Tractor Tavern, 5213 Ballard Ave. N.W., Seattle; $12 (tickets, 866-468-7623 or www.ticketweb.com; information, tractortavern.ypguides.net or www.myspace.com/holidaybizarre).
