Radio stations rock with Christmas concerts

KISS-FM's Jingle Bell Bash kicks off the season of radio-station Christmas concerts on Thursday at the Paramount. Other concerts include the Deck the Hall Ball on Dec. 9, KISW Holiday Hangover Ball on Dec. 12, Winter Warmth on Dec. 13 and Bob Rivers Twisted Christmas on Dec. 18.

Let the radio-station Christmas concerts begin!

KISS-FM gets the early start this year with the Jingle Bell Bash, coming up Thursday night at the Paramount with Fall Out Boy, Boys Like Girls and the Academy Is. The station claims that tickets are sold out, but you can always take your chances with the listen-to-win gambit all day Wednesday at 106.1. (Or, wait and see if any ducats get released through Ticketmaster.)

The radio-station-sponsored mixed bills continue with the Deck the Hall Ball (107.7 The End, Dec. 9), KISW Holiday Hangover Ball (Dec. 12), Winter Warmth (103.7 The Mountain, Dec. 13) and Bob Rivers Twisted Christmas (102.5 KZOK, Dec. 18). Read more on the rest of the season next week in NWTicket.

But if you like rocker boys in skinny jeans, KISS-FM has the bill for you. The show is set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Paramount Theatre, 911 Pine St., Seattle; $32-$103 (206-467-5510 or www.theparamount.com).
