ZooTunes celebrates its 25th anniversary with concerts featuring Keb' Mo', Taj Mahal, Indigo Girls, Marc Cohn, Aimee Mann, Andrew Bird, Josh Ritter, Emmylou Harris, Boz Scaggs, the Avett Brothers and more.

The popular outdoor concert series ZooTunes returns to the Woodland Park Zoo in June, celebrating its 25th anniversary.

It kicks off June 24 and 25 with blues singer-songwriter Keb' Mo' and ethnomusicologist Taj Mahal.

The rest of the series is listed below:

June 29: Indigo Girls

July 16: Marc Cohn / Aimee Mann

July 23: Andrew Bird / Josh Ritter

July 24: Emmylou Harris / Jimmy Gaudreau and Moondi Klein

July 27: Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings / Marc Broussard

Aug. 13: Boz Scaggs

Aug. 21: Amos Lee

Aug. 27: The Avett Brothers / Shawn Mullins

Concerts go on rain or shine outdoors at the North Meadow of Woodland Park Zoo, located at 601 N. 59th St., Seattle, near the north entrance. Doors open at 5 p.m.; concerts start at 6 p.m.

Tickets are less than $30 per concert; one child (12 and under) is admitted free per paid ticket. They go on sale at 8 a.m. May 5 at these Metropolitan Market locations: Sand Point, Queen Anne, West Seattle, Uptown, Dash Point and Proctor. Check www.metropolitan-market.com for store locations. A limited number of tickets are also available at Woodland Park Zoo gates and on www.ticketweb.com.

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets and low-backed folding chairs (with a height limit of 24 inches) for festival seating.
