Winners announced in our 3MM film contest
Nine little movies made a big impression on this year's panel of judges for The Seattle Times / Seattle International Film Festival's 3 Minute Masterpiece digital film contest.

Nine little movies made a big impression on this year's panel of judges for The Seattle Times / Seattle International Film Festival's 3 Minute Masterpiece digital film contest.
The winners of the competition, listed below, will be shown at a free public screening at 11 a.m. Monday, May 25, at the SIFF Cinema at Seattle Center. For information on this and other festival screenings, go to www.siff.net.
And the winners are:
"Cirque d' Swine," by Glynis Bawden and Sophia Marchetti, Duvall.
"Two Forks," by Susan Burns, New York City.
"ECR PSA," by Bryan Campbell, Bellevue.
"Robot Student," by Duncan Dickerson and Christopher Headland, Bellevue.
"Interstice," by Martin Fossum, Seattle.
"Sparks in the Night," by Ben Kadie, Bellevue.
"After You," by Dave Kellman, Tacoma.
"Gordon Date Lifter," by Robin Mervin and Julie Fogerson, West Seattle.
"3 Minutes of Movie Masterpieces," by Timothy Watkins and Charles Forsgren, Seattle.

A grand-prize winner, announced at the May 25 screening, will receive two full-series passes to this year's film festival and a series of eight Fundamentals of Filmmaking classes at the Seattle Film Institute.
The winner of the J. Michael Rima award for youth (18 and under) will receive free tuition to Seattle Film Institute's summer Teen Filmmakers Program.
All the winners will be viewable on The Seattle Times Web site later this month. Stay tuned for details, and thanks, all you talented filmmakers, for entering.
