DVDs released this week

A weekly listing of new DVDs.

Here are some of Tuesday's DVD releases. Star ratings are by Seattle Times movie reviewers, freelancers or wire services (for full reviews, go to www.seattletimes.com/movies).

3.5 stars"Snow Angels" (R): Michael Angarano, Sam Rockwell and Kate Beckinsale star in this intelligent adaptation of Stewart O'Nan's 1994 novel about small-town limits and desires.

3.5 stars"Young@Heart" (PG): Stephen Walker's delightful documentary profiles a group of singers (average age: 80) who perform classic rock and R&B songs.

2 stars"Made of Honor" (PG-13): Patrick Dempsey plays a "maid" of honor in love with the bride-to-be (Michelle Monaghan).

2 stars "Speed Racer" (PG): A big-screen update of the TV cartoon show with Emile Hirsch as a driving prodigy who tries to salvage the family business, save the world and avenge his brother.

1.5 stars "88 Minutes" (R): Jon Avnet's thriller stars Al Pacino as a forensic psychologist who teaches at the "University of Northwest Washington" and has 88 minutes to track down his stalker or die.

1.5 stars "The Love Guru" (PG-13): This Mike Myers comedy includes a constant barrage of below-the-belt humor that pretty much substitutes for a plot.

Anniversary editions

"Risky Business" (R), 25th anniversary: For those who still like that "Old Time Rock and Roll" with Tom Cruise.

"Beetlejuice" (PG), 20th anniversary: Michael Keaton's obnoxious ghost gets resurrected.
