Obama documentary to premiere in Seattle

"Senator Obama Goes to Africa," a documentary film, gets its debut screening in Seattle in March.

Seattle Times movie critic

"Senator Obama Goes to Africa," a documentary from director Bob Hercules ("Forgiving Dr. Mengele"), will have its world premiere in Seattle on March 25 at Northwest Film Forum, to be followed by a number of April screenings in the Seattle area. The film follows Presidential hopeful Barack Obama on a journey to Africa to explore his family's roots and to examine such issues as apartheid, AIDS and genocide.
