Alice (Milla Jovovich) is back in the action/ horror film "Resident Evil: Extinction."
"Transformers," this summer's action hit (inspired by action figures, no less), opens in IMAX format tonight at the Pacific Science Center, where it will play through Oct. 14 (206-443-IMAX or www.pacsci.org).
And, speaking of movies inspired by inanimate objects, "Resident Evil: Extinction" opens in a number of local theaters today. The third and final installment in the video-game-based film trilogy did not screen in advance for review.
